XSITU is the future of growing.
Let’s build it together!

Share with your community

XSITU began during the pandemic, when rare tropical plants became more than just a hobby — they became a lifeline. From that obsession came a clear need: serious collectors deserved a setup that combined precision plant care with intentional design.

That’s why we created the XSITU Cabinet: the first climate-controlled cabinet designed for rare plants and the people who love them. It keeps everything thriving — light, humidity, airflow, and irrigation — fully automated in one app. And unlike makeshift grow setups, XSITU is built to look like furniture, not lab equipment.

The first prototype, supported by an EU grant, was shown at Milan Design Week and at the Netherlands’ biggest plant fair. The response proved what we knew all along: the community is ready for something better.

Now we’re building the Beta version, set to debut at MyBotanika Expo this October — the final step before full production.

Together we can launch XSITU — and give plant collectors everywhere the freedom to grow differently, live freely, and finally have a setup as beautiful as the plants themselves.

XSITU is a climate-controlled plant cabinet with app-controlled lighting, humidity, airflow, and automated bottom watering. Designed for tropical plant collectors growing Anthurium, Philodendron, Monstera, Alocasia and other rare species indoors. A complete indoor plant care system that replaces grow tents, IKEA hacks, and DIY setups.
